My wife makes a similar dish during Navratras
Hi Mr BK Chowla,
Ya sabudana kichdi is made during navratri's widely across India.
one of my favorite snacks, though I am almost never able to get it right, it either comes out too sticky or too hard :(
Hi Juhi,
The reason it comes out to be hard u must not properly soaking it in water. And the reason why it comes to be sticky is that u must not be draining the water before putting it in the pan or u must be cooking it with the closed lid.
take care of these two aspects and i m sure it will be perfect.
Hi Meghna, this is Srikanth ..Nice recipe.... Simple steps too.. Do you know abt something called "Bagar"? That's also something for Fast. I had it first time in Pune and I loved it... Would love to know the recipe:-)

Bagar is local name of Maharashtra I guess!
